The 7 best tips for perfect bouquets from the garden
Fresh flowers from the garden are a feast for the senses. With these tips, you'll be able to skillfully showcase your garden flowers.

With seven tips for flower happiness
Tip 1
Pay attention to the proportions of flowers and vase. Your arrangement should ideally not exceed twice the height of the vase. If the flowers and foliage are too large, your bouquet will appear top-heavy; if they are too small, the whole thing will look a bit clumsy.
Tip 2
If you use foliage and other “filler” material, you should first arrange it in the vase to create a kind of framework that you can then fill with flowers.
Tip 3
If possible, use an odd number of each variety, such as three or five flower stems – this is more pleasing to the eye and makes the arrangement appear balanced.
Tip 4
Meadow flower and cottage garden arrangements look particularly beautiful when the flowers are arranged in a similar way to how they grow in the garden, i.e. always put a few of the same type together instead of distributing them evenly in the bouquet.
Tip 5
Trim flower stems and accessories to different lengths, then arrange the shortest flowers and branches at the edge of the vase and the tallest in the center, with appropriate gradations in between. This will both mimic natural growth patterns and allow each bloom to be seen and properly admired.
Tip 6
Consider where your bouquet will be placed. If you place the vase in front of a wall, for example, only the front and sides of your arrangement will be visible. This has consequences for the arrangement of the flowers: You can forgo magnificent blooms in the back, but you'll need more height there. If, on the other hand, your bouquet is intended as a table centerpiece, it will be visible from all sides, which suggests an even arrangement with the longest flowers in the center of the vase. This way, every guest has a chance to enjoy your garden beauties.
Tip 7
The location also influences the size and height of the arrangement. While it may seem appealing to decorate the dining table with a large and spectacular bouquet, I predict your guests will be mostly busy playing "peek-a-boo!" until everyone gets tired of it and the obstruction is removed from the table. Large, overbearing bouquets are also out of place on the bedside table and are also in danger of being knocked over. A small bouquet of fragrant blooms is a better choice here.
